About the success of the podcast
Podcast How to Deal With Grief and Trauma currently is in its 3rd year and is an independent podcast, solely produced and funded by Nathalie Himmelrich herself, without the use of advertising. Over the first 18 months, we had over 20’000 downloads for the 55 episodes published.
The success of the podcast and the number of subscribers and listeners show that the topics speak to a lot of people. The podcasts aim to help them find ways to deal with their grief and trauma, not primarily to advertise but to share a personal story of grief, loss, and trauma and how the person dealt with it.
How to become a podcast guest
All of the podcast guests are personally chosen by the host, Nathalie Himmelrich, because of their personal story or their expertise in the field of grief and trauma. The podcast guests range from professors, authors, and trauma and grief specialists to ordinary people who have experienced loss and trauma.
Many of our guests are personally invited by Nathalie due to their personal and/or professional connections, or through the way they share through means such as social media.
Others, such as authors or other entrepreneurs search out podcast appearances to talk about their upcoming book publications, their courses, etcetera. and they are asked to support the podcast financially with a podcast support fee.
Besides this, How to Deal with Grief and Trauma is an independent podcast, and for it to remain mid-roll advertising-free, we receive support from our listeners. If you like the podcast and have benefited from its episodes please go to https://bit.ly/SupportGTPodcast and choose your level of support. IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ FIRST BEFORE APPLYING:
In the last few months, we have been inundated with requests from potential podcast guests, and therefore can no longer respond to email requests. Given the significant investment of time (every podcast takes approximately 6 hrs) and resources, we ask for a podcast support fee of US$ 200 to help cover some of the costs of hosting, production, editing, etc. from those who are looking to showcase their work in front of the podcast host’s audience.
If you can contribute to the making of the podcast then we might consider you as a guest on the podcast, given your story fits the topic and the audience of the podcast.
If you would like to proceed, please apply for a spot on the guest waitlist below.
Generic inquiries about podcast appearances, not specific to grief and trauma, will not be accepted.
