CREATIVE HEALING MINI-COURSE
Welcome to A NEW BEGINNING in managing Grief & Trauma!
Welcome, to ‘May We All Heal – A New Beginning’, our mindfulness-based conscious way to give your heart and soul the space to focus on grieving and healing.
This event May We All Heal (MWAH) has been running as a yearly creative event since 2015. You can read more about its origin on the link above.
Thank you for being here. Whether you have participated in MWAH previously or not, take a few minutes to read about this new format, the possible alternatives to choose from, and the most important details.
A New Beginning
First of all, this event is now open to anyone who has experienced grief and/or trauma.
This mini-course is easily accessible on a course platform, which you can reach through any of your devices. Simply follow along the path through the modules and lessons, or skip ahead to the sections that entice you the most.
In this video, Nathalie introduces the online self-guided course “May We All Heal,” which focuses on using creativity to cope with grief and trauma. Nathalie explains that the course is free, with a pay-as-you-can option to support free resources for those in need. She highlights the different modules and lessons available, including written content, images, videos, and audio. Nathalie encourages viewers to complete each lesson and provides resources and downloads in the subsequent modules. She also mentions additional support options, such as professional assistance and a podcast. Join Nathalie in exploring creative ways to navigate grief and trauma.
Grief and Trauma are affecting us all
It’s fair to say that we all have experienced grief and trauma in the last few years, especially since the COVID pandemic started and the number of worldwide turmoils and wars has increased. With for example the war happening in Ukraine, we are again affected in one way or another, at least by what is called secondary trauma – hearing about it in the news and other forms of media.
Working with clients in my role as a grief recovery therapist, I hear how the current state of world affairs is affecting them, personally and individually, or as a couple with their grief or trauma. Again, the importance of self-care in grieving and dealing with trauma is paramount.
Prompts
Originally, this creative way of managing grief and trauma was held during the month of May. This is the reason, the program contains 31 prompts, one for each day in any month of May. If you choose to do this event in another time frame, leave out or add prompts, just as you need. You have three options:
- Follow prompts: you can either follow the prompts that are shared in the mini-course, or
- Choose your own: choose which prompts or themes you want to explore.
- Use a prompt set: There are some prompts grouped together in a set, which you can use as a whole.
- Recycle: You can re-use the original prompts from the companion book, if you haven’t got it yet, go ahead and order it here.
If you have taken part in MWAH before, it might be really interesting to visit the same topics and see how differently you think about it this time around.

Some important details
Let people know what you’re doing
Download this image ‘Dear Family & Friends’ and share it on your social media challenge before you start. It’s good to let them know what you are doing and how they can support you.
What if…
…I can’t do it every day?
Don’t worry about whether you can do this every single day or not. It’s not about how many days you give yourself the time to reflect. It’s about the fact that you do.
…I don’t have the companion book?
You can order a soft or hardcover version in the shop. Alternatively, choose a notebook that fits your needs, with respect to size and paper quality (preferably without any lines or grids to allow free creative expression).
Please note
Given the history of this event, there might be a higher number of grieving parents in comparison to other participants dealing with trauma or grieving another kind of loss, whatever that might be.
Please invite all who participate. Grief is grief – Trauma is Trauma.
